Freediving Courses
Level 1
The SSI Freediver course equips students with the essential skills and knowledge to safely engage in recreational freediving independently with a buddy.
The course is divided into three primary phases:
-
Knowledge development on fundamental freediving principles.
-
Confined water sessions to master breath-hold techniques, as well as static and dynamic apnea.
-
Open water sessions to practice free immersion and constant weight freedives, along with proper buddy procedures and rescue techniques.
The course aims for students to attempt static apnea, achieve a dynamic apnea distance of 30 meters, and perform a constant weight freedive to depths of 10-20 meters.
Upon course registration we will send you course materials in a digital format.
During the course, you will get all the equipment needed for your course.
After successful course completion you will receive a digital certification card.

Duration: 3 days
Depth: 10-20 meters
Minimum age: 12 years
Maximum people: 4 Students

Level 2
The SSI Advanced Freediver course delves deeper into the theory of freediving, enabling you to understand the physiology and techniques for deeper diving. You will learn the Frenzel equalization technique and how to use buoyancy changes during a dive to achieve Freefall.
The course consists of three main phases:
-
Knowledge development on advanced freediving skills and techniques required for deeper diving.
-
Confined water sessions to refine static and dynamic apnea.
-
Open water sessions to practice free immersion, Frenzel equalization, constant weight freedives, buoyancy control, and Freefall, as well as buddy procedures and rescue techniques.
The course aims for students to achieve a static apnea time of 2 minutes and 30 seconds, a dynamic apnea distance of 50 meters, and a constant weight freedive to depths of 20-30 meters.
Upon course registration we will send you course materials in a digital format.
During the course, you will get all the equipment needed for your course.
After successful course completion you will receive a digital certification card.
We include transfers from GETWET to sites, entrances, water and snacks.
